Trafiq Cafe & Bakery

Bryan and I randomly walked into Trafiq: 4216 Main Street.

I was craving a good sandwich of some sort and thought I might find one in here. It looked like they run a catering business and have this storefront. They had an average selection of pastries, breads, sandwiches and coffee drinks.
We ordered a ham and cheese croissant. We waited just a few minutes for this. It was served to us warm and Mmmmm it was delicious. The croissant was better than what I expect one to taste like, flaky and buttery goodness. There was a nice pile of black forest ham and the cheese was melted on top. YUM. Bryan and I tasted a zing of spicy which was from the dijon and chipotle mayo. Very delicious and it was big enough to fill both of us.

We also ordered a slice of chocolate hazelnut cake. oooo weeee. haven't tasted something like this in a long time. The texture was light and fluffy with that "melt-in-your-mouth" effect. It was just the right amount of sweetness. Tres delicieux!

Some other menu items that looked good were a flourless chocolate cookie, chunky monkey cake, and their choices of paninis. The total bill was about $12 for the 2 items. They had a clean and fresh feeling inside. I noticed the unique light fixtures. They look like whisks!! I loved that idea.
Here are the whisk lights up-close:
Trafiq is a cute little cafe with sweet and savoury menu items and is definitely worth a visit!
Trafiq deserves a 9 out of 10 rating.
Happy Eating, xoxo
